Terms of Use

I'M HERE · Version 1.0 · Effective:

These terms are the agreement between you and Mert Dolu. By using the app you accept them. We have written the parts that matter without softening them.

1. Who can use the app

2. How it works

When you say you are here you become visible for 30 minutes. During that window you can see eligible people nearby and send a request to meet. If they accept, a limited chat opens. If you both want to, you can share contact details.

No one is shown your precise location, their distance from you, or your direction.

3. Rules you agree to

You must not:

We recommend you do not put sensitive details — health, religious or political views, ethnicity or sexual orientation — in your profile.

4. Meeting in person — please read

Important

This app introduces you to real people. We do not verify anyone's identity, run criminal record checks, or research their background. We cannot guarantee that someone is who they appear to be.

The decision to meet is yours and the responsibility is yours. Meet in public places, do not carry valuables, tell someone you trust where you are going, and leave the moment you feel uncomfortable.

If you feel you are in danger, call 999 — not us.

5. Contact details you share

Sharing your phone number, social media handle or email is entirely your choice. Once shared, that detail is in the other person's hands; withdrawing it in the app cannot make them unsee it. Bear that in mind when sharing with someone you have just met.

6. Reporting and blocking

You can block and report any user from within the app. A blocked person is not told.

We review reports and may suspend or close an account. We will tell you the outcome of a report you made. If you want to challenge a decision about your own account, write to info@useimhere.com.

No user can see report files.

7. Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. Section 7 of the Privacy Policy explains exactly what deletion does — in particular that messages in the other person's chat remain.

If you break these terms we may suspend or close your account. Where safety requires it we may do so without prior notice, and explain afterwards.

8. Availability

We provide the app as it is. We do not promise it will run without interruption, that there will always be people nearby, or that meetings will go well. We may change, add or remove features.

9. Liability

We provide the app with reasonable care and skill. Even so:

We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing in these terms reduces your rights as a consumer under UK law.

10. Content

What you write and the photo you upload are yours. You give us permission to use them so the app can work — to show your content to the other person and to carry out safety reviews. That permission is limited to running the app; we will not use your content in advertising or anywhere else.

The app's name, design and software are ours.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Your rights to bring proceedings as a consumer in the UK are unaffected.

12. Changes to these terms

When we update these terms we change the version number and date. For significant changes we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
